Notes

  1. It's been confirmed with the maintainer of pkg-config that there is no option to disable the automatic re-ordering of libraries, which has been causing some issues for us. For now, the biggest problems we're encountering with pkg-config, however, seem to be with the example on CYGWIN with cl. For now, we can just disable the use of pkg-config in those situations.
  2. There was a discussion of the need to update documentation for the build tools now that things are settling out a little. It seems that easiest way to do this is simply to make a clone of the Trac site, make the modifications on the cloned site, then replace the current site with the modified clone. We'll look into doing this.
  3. There has been minimal progress on CoinAll 1.6. A new SYMPHONY stable has been created, which uses the EPL. We are still waiting for Bonmin and Couenne to be converted to the new build system and a number of projects still need to be converted to the EPL.
  4. There was a discussion about support for Visual Studio 2005. It was agreed that the official policy will be not to support it going forward, but we may slip in a few fixes if they are provided to us by good samaritans.
  5. There was a short discussion of hosting options. It looks like Clemson will be the new host, but there is still the question of whether to buy support nor not and what kind of server to buy.
  6. There is still a problem with ticket SPAM. Matt will install a plug-in for moderating tickets that should solve the problem.

Respectfully submitted,

Ted Ralphs, TLC Chair
