Notes
- There will be a special election to fill the seat on the TLC vacated by Bill Hart. Suggestion for nominations are welcome. The call should go out soon.
- CoinAll 1.6 is nearing another release, following a round of releases of all included projects, in order to correct a few problems with the build system.
- We are finally getting back to moving forward with binary distribution and installers.
- Automated generation of binaries should be easy now with Jenkins and the TestTools project. John and Kipp are going to get an initial setup running.
- For installers, Ted is going to look again at InstallJammer. There is a question as to whether we should stick with it, given that the InstallJammer project is no longer active. The goal is to be able to automatically generate both binaries and installers.
- Stefan is going to look into getting RPMs and .debs working again.
- There was a discussion about whether to move to the new auto tools version or to possibly switch to something like CMake. Ted will firsst try to run the autotools with the most recent version of the autotools and see how badly it breaks. We'll then discuss the issue further at the next meeting.
- There hasn't bee much movement on Jenkins. Kipp and John will try to move it forward.
- Ted will make sure that the most recent version of the moderation TRAC plug-in is installed.
Respectfully submitted,
Ted Ralphs, TLC Chair
