TLC Meeting January 4, 2008

The TLC met by teleconference on January 4, 2008 at 3:30 PM EST.

Agenda

1. Fallout of move to include/coin.

2. Any other changes to install directory structure?

   • Documentation
   • Binaries

3. Missing AUTHORS, LICENSE, and README files

4. New set of releases for new version of build tools (new two-digit version for all projects?).

5. Windows installer?

Notes

1. There haven't really been any problems reported due to the change in installation location of the header files.

2. It was agreed that we should change the location of the documentation files to share/doc/coin, rather than the current location share/doc for reasons similar to the move to install header files in include/coin. No other changes were thought to be necessary.

3. Several projects are missing required files. It was agreed to make an effort to get all files submitted.

4. It was agreed that we should _not_ require new two-digit releases by all projects, despite the change in installation location of header files, which will break the Makefiles of any user-built applications accessing the old location. Andreas agreed to create a new set of releases for all projects in order to upgrade to the latest build tools release.

5. The possibility of creating a Windows installer was discussed. We will look into it when there is time.
