Health insurance - codemagic-ci-cd/company-handbook GitHub Wiki
We offer premium health insurance in Codemagic
For Estonian employees
We have a package which covers 80% of the costs and you cover 20%. It includes doctor visits with priority, dental, physiotherapy and massages, special diagnostic (e.g. MRI, CT scans etc.), mental health doctors, prescription drugs should be included as well.
This means if you go to book a time at a private clinic or paid service in Estonia then 80% of the costs will be re-imbursed and you pay for 20% of the costs. For context MRI at confido cost about €200 I think and doctor visit is typically under €100.
For People working abroad
You need to find local provider
Make sure to:
- Insurance covers chronic illnesses and pre-existing conditions! This is important because otherwise, if you have high blood pressure and need antibiotics, they may try to avoid coverage and blame it on a previous condition, in spite of it having nothing to do with an infection in this case. (true story) And there is typically little you can do to make them reconsider and it will just drag out the claim.
We cover in-patient, outpatient, dental, vision, screening & vaccines, wellness (mental health), and maternity (20% co-insurance). Insurances typically have some package deals - pick the middle option.

If insurance provider asks you "how much do you want to spend" I suggest you tell them you are speaking with X Y and Z (other local providers) and would like a quote or some offers/packages on the coverage you requested so you can make a decision.
We will reimburse the cost of your health insurance by asking Anu and she will assist you further.
