GM18100
We used NVIDIA's Jetson Nano to perform object detection using OpenCV and ImageNet.
We envisioned a system to aid the visually impaired. We wanted to make objects in view to a camera audible to the user. This required a small form factor computer with enough compute, like NVIDIA's Jetson Nano. We also sourced a USB web camera that we already had. With the Jetson set up and camera connected, our main challenges included setting up the imaging circuitry and using OpenCV for object identification. We weren�t able to make it to the audible portion of our design.
