Commands - clockworktownsmp/clockwork-bosses GitHub Wiki
Stable 0.2.0 and beta.6 use individual permission nodes for LuckPerms and other Fabric Permission API v1 providers, with native game-master permission (normally operator level 2) as the fallback when the provider does not answer. Commands, editor operations and selector clicks check their own nodes. Minecraft's separate vanilla command is /bossbar.
For the commands below, <value> means required and [value] means optional. Replace the placeholder with your own value and leave out the brackets.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/boss create new <template> |
Creates a default template with empty media folders. |
/boss create preset <preset> <template> |
Copies a preset and its media into a new template. Preset names autocomplete. |
/boss template list |
Lists active templates. |
/boss template schema |
Exports shared definitions and installed addon settings to config/clockwork-bosses/template-schema.json. Available in stable 0.2.0 and beta.6. |
/boss template edit |
Opens the Templates/Presets picker. |
/boss template edit <template> |
Opens an active template. |
/boss template edit preset <preset> |
Opens a reusable preset. |
/boss template delete <template> |
Removes an active template from the list and retains its folder under deleted-templates/. Remove encounter instances first. |
/boss reload |
Reloads template/media files and reapplies saved settings to loaded bosses. |
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/boss setspawn <template> |
Saves your current block position and dimension to the template. |
/boss spawn <template> <name> |
Spawns a dormant boss. Uses the saved spawn, or the command source position if unset. |
/boss activate <name> |
Manually activates a dormant boss. |
/boss list |
Lists loaded Clockwork Bosses. |
/boss remove <name> |
Removes one loaded boss. |
/boss remove all |
Removes all loaded Clockwork Bosses. |
Use the template name for its settings, and the boss name for the encounter you spawned. For example:
/boss spawn arena_boss gatekeeper
/boss activate gatekeeper
/boss remove gatekeeper
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/boss select activation <template> [also_bossbar] |
Starts activation area/redstone selection. Use true to copy an AREA selection to boss-bar visibility too. |
/boss select arena <template> |
Selects the box for boss-bar visibility and configured player effects after activation. |
/boss select cancel |
Ends the selector session. |
Left-click sets corner one; right-click sets corner two. In activation selection, sneak + right-click switches AREA/REDSTONE modes. A combined activation/boss-bar selection stays in AREA mode. See Arenas and activation.
Capture starts turned off. Stable 0.2.0 and beta.6 use clockwork_bosses.command.debug, with native game-master fallback:
/boss debug on
/boss debug off
/boss debug status
/boss debug dump
/boss debug clear
These commands capture a limited set of attack/support compatibility events. They don't trace all AI activity or take periodic snapshots. See Compatibility and testing.
For encounter music using the default music channel:
/stopsound @s music
This clears encounter music requests until arena re-entry or /boss reload. Other configured music channels use Minecraft's category-specific sound behavior. See Sounds and music.
| Command | Purpose |
|---|---|
/boss workshop open |
Private one-use login link; player only. |
/boss workshop logout |
Revoke your sessions/links, including during outages. |
/boss workshop reload |
Apply connection settings asynchronously. |
Native owner permission (normally operator level four) and online-mode are
required. /bossworkshop open/logout/reload are temporary aliases with the same
checks. /boss reload applies gameplay/templates, separately from the connection.
Core file commands now report actual completion in later chat, not their immediate
admission result. See Workshop for upgrade/storage/authentication.
Testing commands beginning with /cwtest belong to the separate development Test Mod. Installing the stable core alone does not add them.
