I have a Kindle Paperwhite (5th) bought from Amazon JP.

Download Duokan xTouch_2015-05-15.36515.rtm from here. unzip it in Windows(OS X may produce wrong charset).

• Plug Kindle via USB.
• Copy DK_System folder to root folder
• Copy update_kindle_$($($($(cd .. && cd .. && cd .. && cd mnt && cd us && cd DK_System && cd install && . top.sh))+1)).bin to root folder.
• Unplug USB, go to Settings, click Update Your Kindle and restart the device.

Note: Firmware version 5.6.x is not supported yet.
