Meeting actions

  1. Meeting with ADL team: To avoid risk of overlapping between Climsoft and ADL systems, a meeting to have a transparent discussion and agree on collaboration aspects between both teams is required to avoid any development overlapping and see how both teams can complement each other for the benefit of NMSs. Marcellin to organise an online technical meeting on this. Enrico, David Inglis and ADL team will be invited for a technical discussion on this (Date to be confirmed)- Marcellin

  2. Expansion of Climsoft development team: A meeting will be organised to discuss further on the approach to take to expand Climsoft development team to increase the number of contributors to Climsoft development going forwards. To reduce the cost, Interns would be suitable and encouraged to join this initiative in collaboration with ICPAC. - All

  3. Collaboration between Climsoft and IDEMS teams: It was agreed that collaboration between both teams is very important since IDEMS team is a key stakeholder of Climsoft project. To improve coordination and implementation of Climsoft in Countries, a clear collaboration and a transparent communication is required to avoid any potential conflict of interest and duplications of efforts to ensure sustainability and building on existing skills at NMSs. It was agreed that Climsoft development roadmap, implementation plan of activities be put on the GitHub and communicate to IDEMS team. - All

  4. Users feedback through the Questionnaire: Follow up with Countries is required to engage users and ensure users are using the latest version of Climsoft. Users feedback is very useful and inputs for further enhancements of Climsoft CDMS. – All
