This Wiki is part of the Master Thesis work done by Maria Juana Mota Garcia and Luis Angel Sustaita Guerrero to obtain the grade of Master on Software Engineering by the Mathematics Research Center (CIMAT) in Mexico.

The patterns presented in this Wiki are based on the research done by Christian Behrens who proposed a series of patters for data visualization on his Master Thesis work entitled The Form of Facts and Figures: Design Patterns for Interactive Information Visualization presented in 2008 in the Postdam University of Applied Science.
