Opdracht

  • To follow the DLC process and document the addition of interactivity to your website
  • to get feedback based on a code/design review
  • to conduct and document a user test

for checkpoint 1.1.3

  • user test
  • document feedback

Approach

my approach for this sprint is to finish as much as possible of the website. to reach a point where every element on the website is clear and easy to use. By this, I want to achieve the following:

  • adding a form page
  • make the layout more responsive and user-friendly
  • to implement more u-i events with javascript
  • to learn as much as possible

conclusion

for 1.1.2

  • principles and conventions that were applied.

I tried to apply everything that I have learned during this sprint 5. from creating a form, applying progressive disclosure and a validation method. I learned and applied u-i events based on the "three-step plan" to enhance the feed-back and feed-forward on the site.

  • what succeeded.

I managed to add a form page to the site and a dialog to confirm the submission of the form. for the form, I used CSS-states to create a small validation system which led to progressive disclosure. and I used the "three-step plan" to add more features to the site.

  • what didn't.

I think I have used all the conventions and principles that were brought up during the sprint. but I can say that I have not managed to finish all the changes to the website that would have helped with the user interaction or feed-forward.

  • which principles and conventions do you want to learn and apply next time?

I look forward to applying more UI events in the next assignment. and also to be more deliberate about my feedback and feed-forward interaction since the beginning of the next assignment.
