Assembly
The Load Cell Arm consists of just three core components: the two 3D printed arms and the load cell itself.
Prep the Load Cell
Start by applying a small dab of blue Loctite to the threaded holes of the load cell.
The threads on many load cells are loose by default, and Loctite helps prevent the screws from vibrating loose over time.
Blue Loctite is not permanent — it holds securely but allows easy removal for maintenance or future redesigns.
Attach the Arms
Attach the two 3D printed arms to either side of the load cell using:
Tip: Use a ball-end hex driver for easier access and torque when tightening.
Insert Bearings
Take 4 × 608ZZ Bearings and insert them into the bearing recesses — one on each side of both ends of the arms (4 total).
✅ Great job — now on to the Slider Assembly!
