Assembly
Attaching the Side Mounts
The pedal arm assembly begins by installing the side mounts to the base. This picks up immediately after securing the baseplate.
Start by inserting four M5 Heat Set Inserts — two on each side of the base assembly.
Next, prep the side mounts:
- Insert one M3 Square Nut into each mount.
- Insert one 608ZZ Bearing into the recessed pocket on each mount.
Hold the bearing and nut in place, align the side mounts with the base, and secure using two M5x14mm Socket Head Screws per side.
Flip the base assembly upside down — take care not to pinch the hanging ribbon cable.
Secure each side mount from below using one M3x16mm Flat Head Screw, threading into the square nuts.
Prepping the Pedal Arm
Prepare the pedal arm for installation.
Insert two M5 Heat Set Inserts into the front-facing holes of the pedal arm.
Mounting the Pedal Arm
For this step, you'll need:
Insert the M8 nuts into the slots on the pedal arm. These are designed with zero clearance, so you may need to use the screw to help draw the nut into place.
Insert the M8 screws through the bearings and into the pedal arm, then tighten. The nuts’ nylon inserts will add resistance — that’s expected. Tighten until secure and the pedal rotates smoothly with no lateral play.
At this point, the pedal arm should be fully installed.
✅ Nice! You're one step closer to a working pedal.
