File items - chrisgurney/obsidian-note-toolbar GitHub Wiki
File items allow you to open a specific file, or highlight a specific folder, from your toolbar.
After selecting File
, search for any file within your vault, including other file types (e.g., PDFs, images). You can also link to folders, which when selected in the toolbar, will reveal the folder in the file explorer (just like bookmarking the folder).
[!tip] When clicking on a file item in the toolbar, you can use modifier keys to open it in a new tab, tab group, or window.
