There are many ways to jailbreak, either on the device or using a computer. Most jailbreaks involve running a program on your computer, installing an app on your device, or visiting a website. Different iOS versions or devices require different jailbreak.

There are also three different types of jailbreak:

• Semi-Untethered

• Requires you to run an app to be able to use jailbroken features after fully shutting down your device.

• Semi-Tethered

• Ditto, but you need to run a program on your computer while your device is connected.

• Untethered

• The best kind of jailbreak. Jailbreak features stay, even when you fully shut down your device.
