how to install?

using unofficial launcher

You can use the unofficial launcher which is in this repo (here), download the latest release in releases section and you should be able to understand how to use, there is additional information in the root readme.

You can download the game by going to the vulnus repo and download the latest release. once you have downloaded it you must extract it then you are able to run it.

How do i add custom maps?

firstly to get maps, you currently must download them from the discord.

using unofficial launcher

Go to settings in vulnus launcher and open launcher folder, then navigate to game_maps and add any maps which you download from the discord and they should work cross all versions which you have installed.

download the map and navigate to where ever your vulnus install is and put it inside of maps folder.

How do i use a custom cursor?

To use a cursor you must put it inside the folder called "assets" in the game folder, and the file must be called cursor.png.

how to find your game folder on vulnus-launcher:

Go to settings in vulnus launcher and open launcher folder, then navigate to the version you installed

there is plans to add multi version support for this aswell.

where do i get cursors?

cursors can be any image which you have and is a square aspect ratio, you can find premade ones in the vulnus discord under cursors channel.

Why does the map not play and values are high?

This is a bug when trying to load the audio file, it can be caused by two things.

• A) The path to the mp3 file has invalid uri symbols in it, this can be fixed relatively easily, and i have made a tool to fix this bug
• B) The audio data is corrupted, this is harder to fix, but one way which you can fix it is by running it through ffmpeg and re-encoding it.
