1.Introduction

The aim of this document is; delineate the project which called QR Attendance System. We developed a attendance system for mobile/pc app to save more time for class and we want to get rid of clumsiness of old attendance method.

2.Software

Can Koral ADALI Web application with PHP Nurettin Cem ALTUNBULDUK Login and Database connections for Android Berkan GÜREL Scan QR and Database connections for Android

We used Android Studio to develop the Android side of the project and PHP for web application.

In web application teachers can login to the system and system will generate a QR Code automatically. After 15 seconds system will be locked down and teacher can see who is in the class via a list. We used phpqrcode plugin for generating random QR codes.

3.Installation

Download the application from Github: (​https://github.com/cemaltunbulduk/Attendance-System-by-QR-Code/raw/ master/APK/QrAttendance.apk​). Run the apk on your android phone. Click on install. Then, go to application settings by holding the application image for few seconds and allow “camera” permission for scanning QR.
