  • Should you use floods (fill planes) for the empty areas of your PCB?
    • Yes: a low impedance ground plane will help reduce EMI suceptibility
    • Yes: a power and ground plane forms a small decoupling capacitor
    • No: for very high speed designs, the capacitance is a hindrance
