Glowshroom is a blue mushroom with yellow dots which emits light. Each related block has a light value of 8. Glowshroom has 3 different variants: mushroom, big mushroom, mega mushroom.

A Glowshroom can be crafted in the Fairy Ring since 1.16.5-1.7.0.0.

Glowshroom can be used in some crafting recipes.

A Tipped Arrow (Nightvision) can be crafted with a Glowshroom and an Arrow.

You can find Glowshroom Cap blocks on top of a big or mega Glowshroom. At night or in dark areas they spawn Nightvision effect clouds randomly on the ground below. When breaking a Glowshroom Cap block it drops Glowshrooms by chance (1:9 one, 1:9 two, else none) and 1-2 Glowstone Crumbs (with Fortune up to 4). To optain a Glowshroom Cap block you need Shears (configurable) or a tool with Silk Touch enchantment. A Glowshroom Cap block can be used as vanilla blue wool and you can craft these specific blocks:

• Glowshroom Cap Button
• Glowshroom Cap Carpet
• Glowshroom Cap Pressure Plate (1x Wooden Pressure Plate, 1x Glowshroom Cap)

The stem of a big or mega Glowshroom can be used as wood. You do not need a tool with Silk Touch enchantment to optain it (configurable). It can be stripped with an axe to Stripped Glowshroom Stem. These two blocks can be crafted to Glowshroom Planks. These can be used as vanilla wood and you can craft these specific blocks:

• Glowshroom Button
• Glowshroom Door
• Glowshroom Fence
• Glowshroom Fence Gate
• Glowshroom Pressure Plate
• Glowshroom Slab
• Glowshroom Stairs
• Glowshroom Trapdoor

Glowstone Crumbs can be optained by breaking Glowshroom Caps and can be crafted to Glowstone Dust.

Glowstone Dust can also be crafted back to 4 Glowstone Crumbs.
