Honey Fungus is an orange mushroom with a translucent design. Its caps act similar to a Honey Block without the sliding feature. Honey Fungus has 2 different variants: mushroom, big mushroom.

Crafting

A Honey Fungus can be crafted in the Fairy Ring.

Usage

Honey Fungus can be used in some crafting recipes.

A Tipped Arrow (Slowness) can be crafted with a Honey Fungus and an Arrow.

Honey Fungus Cap

You can find Honey Fungus Cap blocks on top of a big Honey Fungus. They spawn Slowness effect clouds randomly on the ground below. When breaking a Honey Fungus Cap block it drops Honey Fungus by chance (1:9 one, 1:9 two, else none), 1-2 Honey Blobs (with Fortune up to 3) and 1-2 Honey Shreds (with Fortune up to 3). To optain a Honey Fungus Cap block you need Shears (configurable) or a tool with Silk Touch enchantment. A Honey Fungus Cap block can be used as vanilla orange wool and you can craft these specific blocks:

• Honey Fungus Cap Pressure Plate (1x Wooden Pressure Plate, 1x Honey Fungus Cap)

Honey Fungus Wood

The stem of a big Honey Fungus can be used as wood. You do not need a tool with Silk Touch enchantment to optain it (configurable). It can be stripped with an axe to Stripped Honey Fungus Stem. These two blocks can be crafted to Honey Fungus Planks. These can be used as vanilla wood and you can craft these specific blocks:

Honey Blob

Honey Blob can be optained by breaking Honey Fungus Caps and can be crafted to Honey Bottle and Sugar.

Honeycomb Shred

Honeycomb Shred can be optained by breaking Honey Fungus Caps and can be crafted to Honeycomb.

Honeycombs can also be crafted back to 4 Honeycomb Shreds.
