Installing Cask DRE - cdap-solutions/dre GitHub Wiki

CDAP can be installed on Cloudera, HDP, MapR, HDInsights, EMR and GCE. So, please follow the instructions to get it installed in your environment.

DRE is deployed in two parts:

• One is a CDAP Application and
• And the other is a CDAP Transform Plugin

Both can be installed through CDAP UI or one can use REST APIS or CDAP cli To deploy.

1. Go to http://<router-hostname>:<port>/

• router-hostname Specifies the name of the host where CDAP Router is installed or the VIP routers are connected to.
• port Specifies the port on which the router is running. Default port is 11015.

2. Click on big green Plus button & Click on "Application"

3. Click on "Upload JAR" and then select yare-service-<version>.jar and click "Finish"

5. Call to Action window pops up, then click on "View Application"

6. You will see the DRE service installed.
