Customization of the deep driller is fairly easy, it requires little knowledge of JSON to add ores to a biome or change parameters in the deep driller. There are JSON editors online that can help you visualize the JSON file.

The config.json file is located in the mod directory and is generated when the game has started. It will not be replaced if it is already created so if there is a new feature in the config we would ask you to delete the file and let the config rebuild.

StorageSize: The total number of slots the storage container has in the drill.

PowerDraw: The amount of power the drill pulls during operation.

ChargePullAmount: The total amount of power the drill batteries pull from the power source to charge itself.

SolarCapacity: The amount of power the solar panel attachment stores.

HardcoreMode: If set to true the drill will damage overtime during operation (Also can be found in the menu).

OilTimePeriodInDays: The total number of days it takes for the oil to reach zero in the drill.

OilRestoresInDays: The amount of days it takes for the oil to be fully replenished.

AdditionalBiomeOres: Allows you to add additional ores to the biome. (Check the available biomes and techtypes below.) If the ore is not in the allowed ores the drill won't show it as an option.

MaxOreCountUpgradePowerUsage: The amount of power this upgrade pulls from the drill. Default: 0.2 pps

OrePerDayPowerUsage: The amount of power this upgrade pulls from the drill. Default: 1.0 pps

InternalBatteryCapacity: The overall capacity of the Deep Driller V2 battery.

DrillExStorageRange: The range at which Deep Driller V2 is able to connect to a EX Storage Depot.

1. Drill Inventory Screen. - All items mined from the drill will be put into the drill inventory by DEFAULT.
2. Maintenance Screen. - The hub for all maintenance options.
3. Programming Screen. - Functions for the drill are accessed on this screen.
4. Settings Screen. - The hub for all maintenance options.

1. Oil Tank Dump Receptacle. - The receptacle where oil is added to replenish the depleted oil reserves.
2. Powercell Draining Receptacle. - The receptacle where charged and depleted batteries are put.

1. Add Function Button. - Allows users to add functions to their drill. (See functions list below.)
2. Function Toggle Button. - Turns the function on or off depending on the state.
3. Function Delete Button. - Deletes the function from the drill.

1. Drill Color Change Button. - Allows players to change the color of the drill.
2. Item Filter Toggle Button & List. - This allows users to whitelist materials mined by the drill. Materials checked in the item list will be mined by the drill. (See #7 in the image above.)
3. Solar Panel Button. - Toggles the solar panels attached to the drill.
4. Export Button. - Allows players to auto transfer items from the drill to the nearest Ex-Storage Depot
5. Range Display Button. - This button shows the range at which the drill searches for an Ex-Storage Depot. Range is configurable in the menu.
6. Item Blacklist. - This allows users to blacklist materials mined by the drill. Materials checked will not be mined by the drill. When ENABLED, the filter is disabled and will mine all materials not ticked in the material list (See #7 in the image above.).
7. Item List. - Material list used both by the whitelist and blacklist system.

The blue ring shows the range.

All commands in the drill will have an energy cost, drill damage, or both. Each command must be ended with a semi-colon. ex(os.OresPerDay(10);)
