  • Incorporate more non-traditional types of quests which force players to improv more and lean into their characters

  • Spell list https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Index%3ASpells

  • Increasing player interaction can be as simple as having players act out behavior that reflects the roll they made. e.g. "you rolled a 1, show me the worst charismatic performance you can"

  • Each quest should have something for each player to do

  • What would a DnD Ren Faire look like?

  • Once the goblin problem is resolved, players can help rebuild the town. They can go on quests to find the previous inhabitants and convince them to come back, or they can assist with new shop owners and laborers in rebuilding their storefronts and workshops.

  • A quest which mimics the typical "minor bad guys being controlled by bigger bad guys" trope in DnD adventures.

  • Password to get in somewhere

  • Prisoner's Dilemma? Have party members get into a situation where they have to agree not to take action to succeed?

  • THE CURSE OF OPPOSITES: The character(s) have to talk like Bizzaro to get what they want. Could be something that happens in a place, or a spell which affects one or more characters.

  • Have one quest giver ask for "the lute" but don't point out the spelling

  • Create an afterlife for when players die
