As far as NetGear AirCard 340U and 341U are concerned, we recommend using the vendor-supplied GNU/Linux driver or qcserial driver, if possible.

If that driver is not working for you, there is a heavily hacked version of this driver that worked for @Toukmond at some point in time, available as this gist. Since any attempt at cleaning up the code caused the version to stop working, it has been left as-is, so use only if you know what you are doing and have no other option available.
