Intro

This is a guide to get a USBasp clone working on the following development environment:

• Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
• Desktop PC (Core2 Quad Q6600, 8Gb mem) or Notebook (Core-I7 4510U, 8Gb mem)
• Arduino IDE 1.8.3
• AVRdude 6.3.0
• Visual Studio 2017 Community with Visual Micro

a) Windows 10 driver installation

1. Plug in the USBasp AVR Programmer to a PC USB port. The programmer model used in this guide is an ATMega8A-based clone with 10-pin header and 3.3-5v switch named “EvUSBasp” made by Baite (www.betemcu.cn).
