Helping Concerto - campsych/concerto-platform GitHub Wiki
How you can help Concerto
Thanks for using Concerto. We think that computer-adaptive testing and tests with instant-feedback should be as user-friendly to create as they are for test-takers to complete. Concerto is for everyone - educators, HR in organisations, doctors, and researchers. We aim for the platform to be so easy to use that 90% of tests can be created without writing a single line of code. But to do that we rely on feedback and input from our open-source community.
You can help us in the following ways:
-
You can update/improve our Wiki pages. They are editable by anyone with a (free) GitHub account, so please contact us to be added as a collaborator.
-
You can upload a tutorial video and share the link to it with the community.
-
You can create your own test as a node and share it with the community. It doesn't have to be a completely new node, for example you could make a functioning 100-item Big Five Questionnaire and export that.
-
You can translate the Concerto platform to make it accessible in other languages.
-
If you're a designer, you could create a new HTML/CSS template to enable users to select a new look-and-feel for their test.
-
If you're a programmer and interested in creating new features for the platform then we'd love to hear from you.
-
Please tell others about Concerto! The platform remains free and open-source for everyone because its development is entirely funded by the Psychometrics Centre's commercial projects, so let us know if you know someone looking for support.
