this page outlines how to access and manage the admin features of RP Matchmaker.

🔐 Logging In

  • Admin login is accessible at /admin
  • Only users with isAdmin: true in the database can access this page

📋 Admin Dashboard Includes:

  • List of all applicants
  • Filters for:
    • Age range
    • Genre
    • Writing style
    • Tropes
  • “Pair” button for manual matchmaking

✅ Pairing Process:

  1. Select two compatible users
  2. Click “Pair”
  3. Confirm match in popup modal
  4. System sends notification to both parties
  5. Match gets recorded in the backend

🔄 Match Status

  • Optional future field in DB:
    • matchStatus: pending/confirmed/archived
