Design and styling

The interface is clean and minimal with photography as the main focus. A large portion of the interface is inspired by existing matching apps like Tinder.

Grid

To keep things simple during development I used an 8 point grid. This was a conscious choice since all modern browsers are set to a default of 1 rem is equal to 16px. Following this grid allows for simple divisions, responsive design en consistent design throughout all devices.
