Major change v0.1.6: No manual input is required. Just start up Exile Diary and go! Everything you pick up in your maps will be logged automatically.

Optional: If you are interested in keeping detailed information about the maps you run (tier, delve depth, IIQ/IIR/packsize, map mods) you will need to take a screenshot of this information. Here's how:

  1. After entering a map, switch the minimap to fullscreen mode

  2. Move around until the area name and monster level are on a clear dark background, example below. (See tips for taking a good screenshot)

  1. Take a screenshot (default hotkey: F8) for Exile Diary to extract the area info and mod list from

  2. Optional: If you want to manually signal Exile Diary to process your map run (when you're done playing for the night, for example), send yourself a whisper message containing only the word "end" when you're back in your hideout. Note: this only works if you have extracted the area info via screenshot, if you are in fully automatic mode the only way to end a map run is to start a new one.
