DS-2019 Initiation Process

The DS-2019, or "Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status", allows a student, scholar, faculty to apply for a J-1 visa to enter the United States. Information about Northeastern’s process can be found here.

After the process has been initiated by the staff member and HR, the supervisor will need to complete the Faculty Host Form and Export Control Certification for Supervisor. These will come via email from OGC.

Research Technician
