🗣️ Discussion Summary
1. Communication Platform
We need to agree on a communication platform. The two options are:
- Slack
- Discord
Action Item: Hasancan will research and recommend the best option.
Key Requirement: The platform must support huddle features to facilitate subteam collaboration, as scheduling full-team meetings is unsustainable.
2. Labels
Guidelines for using labels:
discussion: Use this label for ongoing discussions. Ensure you reply or react to comments once reviewed.draft: Apply this label to incomplete issues. Remove it only when the issue is well-rounded, to ensure issue quality.- Additional Labels: More labels (e.g.,
frontend,backend,design) will be added as needed.
Note: Labels will be updated throughout the semester.
3. GitHub Conventions
- Proposed by Yusuf AKIN and documented in the wiki.
- The team revisited the conventions during the meeting.
- Experienced members will share resources on linear history.

4. Wiki Page
- Each member will add a personal effort section to their individual wiki pages.
5. Templates
- Issues:
- An automatic template adder will be added to Github.
6. Issue Management
Keep the following the points in mind
- Every issue must be assigned to someone.
- Do not leave issues open until the PS (Problem Statement).
- Always conclude issues with a comment.
