Scenario #1

Scenario:

One sunny Saturday morning, Mutti, feeling a bit restless, decided to plan a surprise visit to Dolmabahçe Palace for himself and his girlfriend Ayse, whom he knew appreciated historical architecture and design. He logged into BuRota, having remembered it was praised for its insightful travel content.

After a quick search for Dolmabahçe Palace on BuRota, Mutti was intrigued by the first search result, promising a perfect blend of history and stunning views.

He shared the plan with Ayse, who was thrilled. While waiting for her, Mutti checked the route on BuRota, ensuring they could make the most of their day.

Their day was filled with exploration and delight, culminating in a romantic evening. Grateful for the seamless experience provided by BuRota, they ended their date with a promise to embark on more adventures together.

Ebrar woke up on a typical Sunday in spring with such a joy. After having her breakfast omelette, she texted her group chat on Whatsapp, if anybody wanted to hang out and wander around some places today. Her friend, Kemal, responded: “I would love to but I have to be around Beşiktaş between 2.00-3.00 p.m. since I will drop my mobile phone to service. Can you find some cool places around there and draw us a roadmap?” And at that particular moment, a travelling website that she had recently signed up would be perfect for that “drawing a roadmap” task, BuRota, has come to Ebrar’s mind. So she googled BuRota and started her discovery.

Since she has already registered the first time she entered to the website, she directly entered her credentials to the Sign In page.

After signing in, she could directly see her feed, which looks like this:

She surfed around her feed a little bit and found a route that fits their criteria. That route has so much likes, so it must be nice, she thought. And she clicked that route to see details of it. After clicking, the route details page comes up that looks like this:

She wanted to read info about the places in the route and clicked one of the nodes in the map on the page. She could see both detailed information about the place post owner’s comments about that place in a box. “Cool!” she said to herself. After reading some comments from other users and writing down some tips from comments, she clicked “Reroute it!” button to start this journey with his friend. (Spoiler: They both enjoyed their Sunday thanks to BuRota!)

Yigit starts by adding key points he visited in exact order using his favorite app. He marks each spot with a description and photo, ensuring his friends can experience the same views.

After plotting the points, Yigit switches to the map view to see the complete route laid out. He adjusts a few markers for better accuracy, pleased with how intuitive and responsive the interface is.

Satisfied with the mapped route, Yigit thinks about how if he were a professor, this app would earn an A+ for its design and user-friendliness. Excited, he shares the route link in his group chat, inviting friends for a group walk the following weekend.

Once registered, Berkay heads to the search page and types in "Dolmabahçe Palace," eager to learn what makes it a must-visit. The top result provides a concise yet informative description, convincing him that it’s the perfect start for his journey.

Feeling inspired, Berkay sets off for Dolmabahçe, armed with knowledge and excitement for his newfound adventure.

Scenario #5

Scenario:

After finishing his doctoral studies abroad, Burak returns to Turkey, eager to rediscover Istanbul and its cultural heritage. Unsure where to begin, he turns to the internet for suggestions and discovers BuRota, a platform known for its comprehensive travel recommendations.

Burak registers on BuRota, filling in his email, username, and password. He completes his sign-up by verifying his account through a link sent to his email.

Eager to create a vibrant presence on BuRota, Burak sets up his profile. He adds his location, crafts a brief intro about his interests, and connects his Facebook and Instagram to share his travel experiences. He also sends connection requests to his friends on the platform. To ensure a pleasant social experience, he uses the block feature to handle any spam in the comment sections.

Now fully integrated into the BuRota community, Burak finds numerous intriguing places to visit around Istanbul. He meticulously plans his route, choosing spots that appeal to his historical and cultural interests.

With his route planned, Burak embarks on his journey, exploring Istanbul’s rich tapestry of history, cuisine, and architecture, making his homecoming memorable and enriching.

Scenario #6

Determined to adjust his settings, he navigates back to his own profile by tapping his avatar in the bottom-right corner.

Intent on refining the app’s suggestions, Emin clicks the settings icon at the top of his profile.

He proceeds to the "Interests" tab to better tailor the recommendations to his preferences.

Emin meticulously selects topics that appeal to him and confirms his choices by pressing the "Done" button. Satisfied with the adjustments, he feels confident that future suggestions will be more aligned with his interests. Now, Emin can look forward to exploring routes that genuinely excite him, all tailored to his personal tastes.
