Outcomes:
- Completed issues will be reviewed and closed.
- We’ve made a general plan on the app. Capabilities of the different user types like registered and guest is discussed and we’ve made decions on restirictions and capabilites of users.
- Front-end team will draw mock-ups.
- Backend team will do researches about Lexvo, wordnet. and similar API's that could be used.
- We will decide on the programming languages and frameworks that we are going to use.
- We have started to draw our contemplations to guide our real-mockups.
- The details of the quizzes are discussed.
- The utilization of the linked data is discussed. We’ve decided to utilize some other resources to find similarity between different words.
- Mock up design for front-end.
- Back-end started to discuss about implementation details.
- Talked to the TA on project details. Here you can find a short brief on what we have talked:
1- Restrictions on Programming languages: Most probably they are going to be same with the previous semester.
2- Questions on linked-data (LEXVO) - Quiz creation process ( Users will create quizzes. Lexvo should make some suggestions about the senses )
3- The hardness level of quizzes can be determined by the user and system. Also the first registering user will decide his/her own level.
4- Guests should be able to view the posts but not the quizzes
5- What will be the content of the forum posts? They should be related to language, questions etc.
6- It is not necessary to have links between quizzes and posts.
7- Search -> Questions
8- There should be following option to other users.
9- Posts can be bookmarked.
10- Data should be linked. Using wordnet or other api's are okay.
11- Users should input his\her level
12- Forum Search should give related results. There should be a semantic connection.
13- Voting system for quizzes? —> Up to you. So we are not doing it.
14- We might need moderators or admins.
15- Guests can only read.
16- Content approval process -> There is no approval process.
17- If a word does not exist on Lexvo, it should not be allowed to be put in the quiz. For the sake of linked data.
19- We are going to have Turkish and English only
20- There should be tags for posts.
21- Quizzes should not be deletable.
22- Posts should be deletable.
