01.10.2024 Lab2 Report

• During the meeting, we discussed the use of Wikidata for the Fitness/Nutrition Application project, focusing on how it will support semantic search and considering ideas for data annotation implementation. Then, we decided that some advanced search features will be developed.
• We wrote some elicitation questions for customers about accessibility, communications among users and some details about features that can be implemented, other questions will be added later.
• We decided to arrange another meeting on this week to talk about requirements, customer questions, scenarios and mockups in more detail.
• We specified some useful mechanisms to attract the relevant community for our project:
  • Creating a leaderboard and a scoring system that scores users by other user's rating points for their shared exercise and diet program.
  • A daily streak system which users can track their progress in following exercises and diet programs.
  • User roles that are indicated by being an instructor or being a top user according to the leaderboard.

  • creating workout routines
  • creating diet programs
