Naila is a high-school student in Adana and she is a resident of this city with her family. They are staying in a village. When the earthquake happened, she and her family were victims. Their house collapsed, they are physically healthy but they are now in a miserable situation. They are staying outside of their house and the weather conditions are extremely hard. It’s very cold and always raining. It is not possible to find any shelter, any heating, any food or any water. Also, they have a few cows and they also need decoys. There is also a big problem for them. She and her family members don’t know Turkish. They just know Arabic. And this can make everything worse for them because they will have problems with communicating with facilitators in the area. Moreover, the only person who knows how to read and write in the family is Naila and she has to take the responsibility of reporting and finding needs for all of them. |
