  • Fourth meeting of the Mobile Team in which we discuss how to proceed after Milestone 1.

Discussion

  • We reviewed what we discussed in Meeting 18.1.
  • We took a look at what other teams have done.
  • We discussed which models do we need in the medium term and how they should be structured. These are the models and their fields we came up with:
    • Post: id, title, body, date, location, author, images, comments, upvote number, downvote number, commentedbydoctor
    • Comment: id, postid, body, date, author, upvote number, downvote number
    • Article: id, title, body, date, author, images, upvote number, downvote number
    • Other models and fields will be created after discussing with other teams.
  • We discussed which pages should we create in the medium term. These are the pages that we came up with:
    • Post creation page
    • Post page in which post body and comments can be read
    • Articles page in which all articles can be seen
    • Article creation page
    • Article page in which an article can be read
    • Pages that can be reached from the profile page:
      • Upvotes page
      • Comments page
      • Posts page
    • Edit profile page
    • An inital search page (if time permits)
  • Bottom bar should be reachable in all app. For the time being, it is only accessible in home page (forum and articles page).
  • Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) form and document upload feature should be added to the sign up page.

Additional Notes

  • We are dependent on backend implementation to finalize the model and page implementations
  • If time does not permit, search, notifications and settings pages will be implemented in the following weeks.
  • We need to discuss the following with other teams (especially with the backend team):
    • Which fields will the User model have in its final form?
    • How will category and tag models be implemented? How can we use them at this stage of the app?
    • How will location info be managed?
