A valid ritual setup contains an altar and up to 4 podiums placed within 3 blocks. They come in two tiers:
The deepslate altar does not require any fuel. However, some rituals may require the anirrum altar to be filled, and will consume energy on performance. The altar can be filled with corpse sap or by receiving a sanity ray from a corpsegourd.
All rituals provide "sanity debt." Sanity debt is an invisible value that prevents passively increasing sanity, and any sanity gained is gone into reducing this debt. Sanity gained from items still applies as usual but not sleeping.
Insight is a semi-invisible value that tracks the player's ability to perform rituals. Some rituals may require a higher level of insight, and insight can be increased using certain rituals. Insight corresponds to unlocked grimoire entries as well.
