Obtaining
You can obtain a corpsebloom by using blight mold on any double tall flower.
Growing
Corpseblooms can be planted on soil blocks, soul sand and soul soil.
When planted, corpseblooms must first be grown. You can feed it undead monster's (organic) drops. It will not grow on its own, however better drops will be much more effective in growing it.
- Rotten flesh and bones are the weakest
- Phantom membranes, necroplasm and lysosomes are more effective
- Reticula and vacuuoles are most effective
If a fully grown corpsebloom is broken, it will stay grown when replaced.
Usage
Corpseblooms will ensnare any nearby undead monsters that are on its soil blocks. This includes Manic's spectres, however lunacy spectres and bosses aren't targeted. After a few seconds, the roots will kill the monster, absorbing its soul. Once a corpsebloom kills enough monsters, it will become sappy.
A sappy corpsebloom can be bottled for its corpse sap and will also automatically transmit its sap to nearby corpsegourds that aren't sheared. Once its sap is removed, it will enter a wilting period for around 7 and a half minutes.
A fulfilled zombee can pollinate corpseblooms, either resetting its wilted state, or filling it with corpse sap.
