The Huawei SmartLogger is a data logger required for monitoring and managing Huawei inverters. It is also possible to connect several inverters in parallel in the same system and monitor them together.

The adapter saves the recorded data in the same way as when reading the inverter directly. In addition, some status values โ€‹โ€‹are stored in the path sun2000.0.slogger

By default, the function for connecting to a third-party management system via Modbus TCP is deactivated on the smartlogger.

How to enable Modbus TCP on Smartlogger

  • Log in to WebUI of smartlogger: Choose Settings/Modbus TCP

  • Link settings: set this parameter to Enable (Unlimited)

  • SmartLogger address: Set this parameter to the communication address of the SmartLogger

How to configure the sun2000 Adapter

The setting is made via the configuration.

  • Huawei Device Integration: Smart Logger (default: SDongle)

  • address: Smart Logger IP address
  • port: 502
  • modbusIds: inverter modbus IDs, separated with "," (max. 5 inverters)
