Aperte Workflow is an Open Source BPM suite, providing ready-to-use, comprehensive process platform for Liferay Portal.

Case Management: new case entity. One can now start processes from case. As process, case has it's own definition, type, stages and properties. New Case Registry Portlet
Integration with Liferay 6.1
New OSGi plugins type: queue definition, web service, case mappers
Queue Definition plugin: now one can provide own HTML file and custom filters for user queue. Use it with Spring Bean OSGi controllers to create queues with additional and custom columns.
Web Service plugin: add new web services as OSGi plugin
Case mappers: use it to transfer data from case to process and vice versa
New admin portlet settings page - change settings on-live from Liferay Administration Portal
Dictionaries Editor: now one can provide required attributes with descriptions
Interactive reports: new mechanism to provide HTML reports
Core changes: widgets abstraction to use one widget in case and process
Group notifications - send only one, grouped notification with all notification from all day, for specified users or users with role. If this feature is enabled for specified user, no notifications during a day will be sent.
Core optimizations: better jBPM session handling and minor core fixes
Better logging for maintenance purposes
