Version 1.0 of Aperte Workflow brings a comprehensive enterprise BPM solution, ready for any business requirements.

Aperte Workflow 1.0 most important highlights and improvements are:

  • Integration with Liferay Portal, providing tons of advanced features
  • Felix OSGi framework brings control and management over features used in business processes. It also supports component reusability through various business processes.
  • Simple and effective Enterprise Integration provided by Mule ESB plugin.
  • Friendly user interface brought by Vaadin framework. It is also possible and easy to enhance user interface elements with Vaadin.
  • Aperte Workflow Modeler - a complete, web-based process design environment. Aperte Workflow Modeler allows users to build, deploy and test processes in minutes, while still supporting the open architecture and plugins provided by Aperte Workflow.
  • Support for popular servlet containers (JBoss, Tomcat) and RDBMS - with JTA support.
  • Integrated Lucene search - with respect to roles and permissions configured on a process
  • Process instance console, available in Liferay Control Panel. The console provides basic Business Activity Monitoring features.
