Data Deletion Policy

Overview

The Bisq Node and Bisq Connect apps do not store user data on any centralized server. All data is kept locally on the user's device, ensuring full privacy and control.

How to Delete Your Data

Since all data is stored locally, users can delete their data using one of the following methods:

1. Uninstall the App

Removing the Bisq Node or Bisq Connect app from your device will automatically delete all locally stored data, including any generated profile information.

2. Manually Clear App Data (on Android apps)

If you prefer to clear the app's data without uninstalling, follow these steps:

• Open Settings on your Android device.
• Navigate to Apps → Bisq Node or Bisq Connect.
• Select Storage & cache.
• Tap Clear storage to delete all app-related data.

No Remote Storage

Neither Bisq Node nor Bisq Connect store user data on centralized servers or in the cloud. Once deleted from your device, the data cannot be recovered.
