CSAE Policy - bisq-network/bisq-mobile GitHub Wiki
Content Safety and CSAE Policy
At Bisq, we strongly believe in user freedom and open interactions. However, to comply with legal and platform requirements, we have a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
🚨 Our Approach
While we do not seek to restrict free expression, we are required to take action against CSAE content to maintain a safe environment in our mobile apps.
🔍 Detection & Moderation
- Bisq is a P2P network, therefore we don't, and actually there is no way to filter on user generated messages.
- However, users can report content that violates our guidelines most commonly used for fraud and scam reporting, harassment, or CSAE-related concerns.
- Accounts proven to be involved in such activities will be permanently banned.
🚨 Reporting Mechanism
If you encounter any concerning content, you can report to our moderators:
- How to report: Please reach out using any of the provided channels to do so.
- Reports are reviewed manually and appropriate action, which may include banning the user, is taken.
For any concerns, please contact us through our provided channels to do so.
