iTC Meeting Minutes 2025 01 07 - biometricITC/cPP-biometrics GitHub Wiki
Call started at 10:03am EST
The call started with a quick review of the task list. There were no current changes.
Brian then started off with a quick overview of the PP-Module update. Brian had merged the CC:2022 pull request into the previous update. The current version still lists 1.2, but the final will be 2.0 to mark the change to CC:2022. It was agreed this should be posted for review. Brian said the target would be to publish in February.
The call then moved on to Kevin’s proposed updates to the Face PAD-L2 overview. This was reviewed and discussed. It was agreed to be merged at the end of the call. Parts of the description related to how to set up the environment for enrolling a face would be copied into the PAD-L1 changes as the description was more explicit in the expectations and lighting conditions for the test.
The content from the update will be further tweaked, with some information being moved into the PAD-L2 inventory.
The next review was the PAD-L2 update from Brian. This was a more fundamental update to bring the documents into alignment with the updated fingerprint toolboxes, with less change to the testing than to the structure/naming of the documents. This would be merged after the update from Kevin and used for further updates.
Brian thought that after this call the completion of the Face toolboxes may be quicker than initially expected.
The last topic of review was the Proposed update to the Face toolbox for PAD-L1. This focused a lot on bringing the documents into compliance with the fingerprint structure and removing some of the 3D testing. This was largely approved, but needs some additional information from the PAD-L2 updates to be included. A few notes were made about some of the inventory for cameras and smartphones that will also be added to the update.
After this discussion it was mentioned that the joint CEN/ISO working group on biometrics would be meeting in Washington, DC in March and that participation from this group would be encouraged
The call ended at 11:02am EST.
