Call started at 10:01am EDT
The call started with a quick review of the task list. There were no changes at this time.
The next topic was a review of FIA_PAD_EXT changes. Brian had made further changes to the SD based on the last call. There were no direct comments but a request to have some more time to review the changes before approving them. This should be done on the next call (in 4 weeks).
Naruki informed the group that the ISO proposal had been submitted to ISO and was currently being used to generate updates within ISO. There are several more months though before a draft would be ready to share back.
The next topic was a continuation of the PAD-L1 discussion for fingerprint. The specific tasks to work on updating the current fingerprint PAD to meet the L1 changes were captured in the fingerprint issues created during the call. Comments and Pull Requests will be made to work on these adjustments. Additional Toolbox Issues were created targeting the overview documents that will provide information about how the different PAD levels work together. These will be needed for the PAD-L2, but the work will overlap with the PAD-L1 changes as some of the information currently in the overview should be moved here.
Keven then asked about the next steps regarding PAD-L2 and the targeted PAD-L3. Brian stated that our plan would be to finish the fingerprint PAD-L2, then shift to Face PAD-L2, then work on Face PAD-L3 in support of eIDAS efforts for the EU (and then come back to fingerprint PAD-L3). Brian will reach out to the other PAD SMEs to ask them to make any final comments on the proposed fingerprint attacks and then to look at how the Face toolbox should be reconfigured.
