Everyone should create new issues related to the text they would like to see under the SFR categories (not pull requests)
The call started with a review of the task list. The work is progressing, and it looks like we will be ready around the time of the CCUF meetings.
The first topic was a review of the feedback from the Japanese researchers. Brian led a review of the document for everyone. A discussion followed on how the information matched up with what has been discussed before. It was agreed that apart from anything else, the feedback from people outside the iTC was great to have and appreciated the work Naruki put in to get this.
It was felt that the feedback overall seemed to fit in with the direction of the current planning for the requirement direction. Brian made a point that some of the comments about input configuration and trust should be handled by the signal verification component that is expected to filter all input and assign "trust". Brian stated that this should be used as a reference going forward to make sure that the points made in the document are handled in any requirement list.
The call then moved to discuss the last changes to PR #17. Brian reviewed the changes he made to the PR after the last call. New diagrams were added along with related updates to the surrounding text. There were no immediate comments on the new text, but there wasn’t enough time for everyone to have reviewed yet. The PR will be reviewed again on the next call for merging.
With the last few minutes of the call, a quick look at the SFR categories was done. Brian asked that everyone take a look at the categories and create individual issues for a sentence or two about what they would want to see in each of the categories. Instead of trying to write the SFR, it is supposed to just be a general sentence about what it needed, which could be translated later. At this point the goal is readability, so any comments about whether some categories are needed vs should be dropped are good to have. These will all be integrated later.
The call ended at 11:01am EDT.
