iTC Meeting Minutes 2021 09 21 - biometricITC/cPP-biometrics GitHub Wiki
Call started at 10:03 am EDT
-
Brian will update the Modality update document to remove the PP_MD_V3.3 references to PP_MD to match the rest of the updates and send an update for everyone to review for approval
There were no changes to the current status of the tasks.
Brian then previewed his current draft presentation for the ICCC. He will send out copies to interested people for further comments. He pointed out that the timeslot if 20 minutes, so the presentation should be about 15 minutes to leave time for questions.
The call then turned to the open pull requests. Several updates had been committed before the call.
-
Editorial fixes #353 & Continuing fixes #359
-
These were discussed and merged during the call.

One edit was made live on the call for better clarity. This was then approved and merged.
-
-
Performance testing #355 & PAD update #357
-
These two pull requests were discussed and generally approved, but as Greg F had posted questions they were left open for him to respond to the follow ups provided by Naruki

-
The open questions from Brian were discussed during the call. Most of these were closed, but the ones remaining open will be updated by Naruki before the next call.
-
The call then moved on to the document about how to add something to the toolbox and its extension to support full modalities. Brian noted during the call that the references to the PP_MD_V3.3 should be updated to match PP_MD. There were no other comments and Brian stated he would send a reminder to review and approve the update when he had updated the pull request.
The group then discussed the timing for the release of the documents (in the preview release form while waiting for the PP_MD update). The remaining changes were thought to be able to be completed before the next call, so Brian proposed starting the final 30-day review period the first week of October after that call, to be completed in the first week of November. The review period would then complete in the first half of November with publication ready before the end of the month.
Naruki then asked about updating the Toolbox document which he felt should have some changes. These were felt to be minor, but while they could be ready by the next call, there was no guarantee they would be approved on that call. Brian then pointed out that a 2 week delay would push things into December, but that this is still before the end of the year, and since NIAP is not yet ready on the PP_MD update, this will not cause any problems. That way we can include the Toolbox update in the final package to get everything in sync without the need for a full public review cycle of those minor changes.
The call ended at 10:54am EST.
