Is it possible to modify signal timing for certain modes? For example I want to have preferential signal time for transit so that it will meet green light in order for the transit to be on time.

It should be possible to have multiple links between the same pair of nodes. These links could then be given different modes and different signal rules.

Be aware, however, that schedule-based pt vehicles operate on car links. This has been a long-standing inconsistency (bug?) in MATSim that hasn't been addressed yet. :-(
