MATSim has a simple GUI to start the simulation. It does not have a GUI to edit the configuration or edit input data (network, population, …).

There is an open-source GUI available as extension, OTFVis, that can visualize network and vehicles of a running simulation.

And there is Via, a closed source application to visualize and analyse MATSim results (network, facilities, agents, vehicles, events, …).
