- Finish Site Survey
- Go to Link Live AirMapper
- Select Wi-Fi Site Survey.
- Set Signal Propagation to 15ft
- At the bottom left set the dBm -72 for normal use or -60 for service touch
- At the top left select Filters
- Select the SSID drop-down and uncheck all SSIDs not under review.
- Any areas of the dealership map that don't show as green or blue lack the needed signal strength required
Dealership IT should be advised of areas needing improvement either with AP movement or power changes - Back out of the heat map and select Analysis
- On the left select SSIDs
- Find the SSID being worked on and compare its Type, Securities, and Signal
Reynolds looks for signal no lower than -60 dBm for service touch and -76 for normal use
- Finish Site Survey
- Go to Link Live AirMapper
- Select Wi-Fi Site Survey.
- Set Signal Propagation to 15ft
- At the bottom left set the dBm -60
- At the top left select Filters
- Select the SSID used for service touch and uncheck all other SSIDs.
- Any areas of the dealership map that don't show as green or blue lack the needed signal strength required

- Finish Site Survey ensuring the needed coverage
- Review the TSP requirements document (LINK TO Toyota Smart Path WiFi Checklist)
- Go to Link Live AirMapper
- Select Wi-Fi Site Survey.
- Set Signal Propagation to 15ft
- At the bottom left set the dBm -60
- Perform the following steps 7-9 for each of the SSIDs in use at the site
- At the top left select Filters
- Select the SSID drop-down and uncheck all but SSID being looked at
- Make note of areas of the dealership map that don't show as green or blue as they lack the needed signal strength required
Dealership IT should be advised of areas needing improvement either with AP movement or power changes - Back out of the heat map and select Analysis
- On the left select SSIDs
- Find the SSIDs in use on-site and compare its Type, Securities, and Signal to the checklist\
In the Results, Files, Analysis, & AirMapper pages an Add to Album button is present.
This option lets us put collections of data together to share with customers or other Reynolds employees.
After an album is put together we can go to Share Albums and create a temporary read-only link that provides viewing access to the data.


After creation the link can be shared by the best means of the receiver and data can be viewed with or without Reynolds's assistance.
- In both AirMapper and Analysis views of the current filters can be made by expanding the purple button at the bottom right and selecting "Create View"
Views make up the page of generated reports
- When creating reports for more than one SSID remove the text from the Description box for all but the last SSID of the View.
- Create the following views in Wi-Fi Survey:
View Set 1:
- Map Type: Signal(dbm) .
- SSID: one view per SSID on our APs
- Name: {SSID} Signal Map
- Description: Default
View Set 2:
- Map Type: Adjacent Channel Interference
- SSID: one view per SSID on our APs
- Name: {SSID} Adjacent Channel Map
- Description: Default
View Set 3:
- Map Type: Co-Channel Interference
- SSID: one view per SSID on our APs
- Name: {SSID} Co-Channel Map
- Description: Default
View Set 4:
- Map Type: AP Radio coverage
- SSID: one view per SSID on our APs
- Threshold: -72 dBm
- Name: {SSID} AP Coverage Map
- Description: Default
View Set 5 (for Service Touch customers):
- Map Type: Signal (dBm)
- SSID: SSID used by service touch tablets
- Band: 2.4 GHz
- Filter to -60
- Name: Service Touch 2.4 GHz Coverage Map
- Description: Signal heatmap shows RF strength and coverage of the survey area. Wireless clients must receive adequate signal levels from their Access Point to ensure Service Touch will function without issue. The acceptable signal set for
Reynolds service touch is -60 dBm to 0 dBm. Areas marked with color in the survey have passed this evaluation.
View Set 6 (for Service Touch customers):
- Map Type: Signal (dBm)
- SSID: SSID used by service touch tablets
- Band: 5 GHz
- Filter to -60
- Name: Service Touch 5 GHz Coverage Map
- Description: Signal heatmap shows RF strength and coverage of the survey area. Wireless clients must receive adequate signal levels from their Access Point to ensure Service Touch will function without issue. The acceptable signal set for Reynolds service touch is -60 dBm to 0 dBm. Areas marked with color in the survey have passed this evaluation.
- Generate a report for Reynolds documentation\customer IT by expanding the purple button at the bottom right and selecting Generate Report.
- Uncheck current view and order the views by type.
- Go to the File tab and export/download the report made after generation is completed.
- After download save to the Network Design folder (keeping no more than the 2 most recent files) and send the PDF to the needed parties.
