lab5 - bhimebau/sice-courses GitHub Wiki
In this lab, you will:
- Create library components for the following devices:
- Nucleo-L432KC
- MPL3115A2 Pressure Sensor Breakout Board
- Light Sensor
- Lipo Battery Charger
- LORA Radio Module
- Create an initial schematic with your components
- Create a board outline from the mechanical module of the enclosure.
- Create an initial placement on the board of your components.
- Nucleo
- Pressure Sensor
- [Pressure Sensor Breakout Board](MPL3115A2 Altitude Breakout Board)
- Light Sensor
- Lipo Charger
- LORA Radio
- Mechanical Enclosure
- Autodesk Eagle Manual Document
Create eagle library components for the following devices:
- Nucleo-L432KC
- MPL3115A2 Pressure Sensor Breakout Board
- Light Sensor
- Lipo Battery Charger
- LORA Radio Module
The components should be added the cps-labs.lbr that was created in the last lab.
- Create an eagle schematic called cpsmon.
- Add one of all of the components from the cps-labs.lbr file to your schematic. Over the next few weeks, we will work on designing the interconnects between these parts. For now, it is sufficient that we could connect them if we so desired.
In this step you will be creating a board outline from a mechanical model of the water tight enclosure that we will be using.
- Download the model for the Polycase WC-34 enclosure from the reference above.
- Set up your Fusion 360 account to work with Eagle: Autodesk Note
- Create a board outline that fits the enclosure and import this drawing in Eagle.
- Create an initial placement of components on the board.
- This placement will change over time but an initial fit check is an important first step.
The submission deadline is before your lab on Friday. Zip your eagle and fusion files and submit them to canvas.
